How to Get Involved

Student Government is always looking for students that wish to get involved and improve the Rochester College community. Students that want to make an impact can apply to become a Student Senator. A Student Senator is a core member of the Student Government.

In order to become a Student Senator, you must fill out a Student Senator application. Once you have filled out the application you will have to turn it into the Assistant Dean of Students whom is located in the Student Development offices in the Campus Center (CC). After you turn in the application, the request to become a Student Senator will be either approved or denied based on the information who have provided. Requirements for becoming a Student Senator are outlined in the Student Government Constitution.

Becoming a Student Senator isn’t the only way you can get involved with Student Government. Student Government has several events and service opportunities throughout the school year that you can be apart of. Below is a list of annual events.
