Collex Collision Experts is looking for candidates to join our shops Leadership Development Technical Path and our offices Management Trainee Path. Our Technical program includes advancement through detailer, apprentice, painter or body technician, production manager to ultimately train employees as a training specialist. Our Management program includes advancement through all of our office positions including customer service, parts coordinating, repair estimate writing, and production management to ultimately develop a well rounded Collision Repair Consultant capable of managing a repair center.
Detailer/Porter
This position is ideal for someone with the desire to begin a lasting career out of college with a Metro Detroit leading collision repair company. We are looking for a high energy individual with a strong sense of detail, urgency to production and willing to learn. Also, able to independently handle responsibilities in a fast paced environment, while maintaining our nationally recognized customer satisfaction levels. This position also requires moving vehicles throughout our shop and occasionally driving customers home. This is an entry level position in our shop environment, which has opportunity to move into our office path as a customer service representative. Our successful detailer/porter typically grows into apprentice, painter or body technician, production manager to ultimately train employees as a training specialist. We are looking for hard working, promotable individuals who can help sustain our continuous growth plans while creating professional success.
Currently looking to fill positions in Ann Arbor, Woodhaven, Livonia and Sterling Heights.
Requirements
-High school education
-Strong interest in cars
-Effective communication skills
-1 year experience in automotive preferred, but not necessary
