Job Title: Verifications Specialist
Location: Troy, MI
Summary of Position:
The verifier will act as support to our verifications team at The Orsus Group to provide efficient
services to our clients. The individual will conduct high volume outbound calls and process
incoming verification orders (i.e. employment, education, professional references) with
accuracy, perform data entry, filing, mailing, and any other tasks or projects that are assigned.
Organization: The Orsus Group– Background Screening and Corporate Investigations
Duties:
? Make phone calls to verify applicant’s employment/education.
? Perform internet research for verifications of employment and education.
? Enter data into background screening system.
? Communicate with clients and applicants regarding status of orders, missing
information, and assisting with service issues.
? Electronically file documents and update spreadsheets.
? Enter data into applicant profiles/orders.
? Assist with client and office projects.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
? Must be able to handle a high volume of incoming/outgoing calls.
? Must be highly detail-oriented and strong capability to multi-task.
? Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
? Must have good typing skills.
? Must have good written and verbal skills.
? Must have good communication/phone skills.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Team player
? Must have obtained a high school diploma or GED/some college.
? Prefer a Human Resource, Criminal Justice and/or General Business Administration
background.
