Gymboree Play & Music of Rochester is now hiring!
Gymboree, the World’s Leader in gym, music & art parent/child classes for babies, toddlers & pre-schoolers, has a part-time position available at our Rochester Hills location (2220 Crooks Road).
We’re looking for a cheerful, energetic person to assist, initially, on Monday & Thursday mornings (9am-noon). Additional assisting shifts and/or teaching time slots may become available in the future. While this is a part-time job, it is a year round position.
Candidates must be CHEERFUL, OUT-GOING, ORGANIZED and COMFORTABLE with “selling.” Previous experience with small children is helpful. A pleasant singing voice & experience leading groups is essential if you may eventually want to teach gym, music or art classes.
Class assistants wear a lot of hats: they are responsible for greeting families, tracking attendance, assisting teachers, selling merchandise, enrolling new families in classes, keeping the waiting area neat, answering questions, and helping out as needed! STARTING PAY: $9.00/hour
