Bordines

Attention Gardeners!  We have an agreement with Bordine Nursery where we can buy their $20 gift cards.  The cards are good for one year, and can be used for any Bordine merchandise.  If everyone would use Bordine’s for just half of their gardening needs this year, it would make a big difference in what we can give to RC.  Contact Lynne Stewart to obtain the cards.

Go to the customer service center and let them know you want to become a Fun Foods member with the Associates of Rochester College #2135965. They will send you coupons and send us funds just by you taking the time to shop there.  - Lynne Stewart

Meijer

All of you who have been using the Meijer Community Rewards program are aware of the changes in this program.  You have to re-enroll in this plan using your current account number and the Associates ID number of 918175.  Briefly, we will earn 1% of every purchase (vs. having to purchase a minimum in the past before we could earn any money.)  The 1% only applies to purchases using a Meijer credit card.  If you pay with cash or any debit card, we will earn 0.5%.  If you use any other credit card, we will earn nothing.

Great Lakes Scrip

When you purchase Scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift cards that are used just like cash. The scrip is issued by the national and local retailers where you already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with Scrip at their stores. You can use Scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for the Associates! Scrip is fantastic for gifts as well as for your own personal use. Hundreds of different kinds are available. Take a look at www.glscrip.com!

To view or print the current (updated daily) list of Scrip available at any time, just log onto www.glscrip.com and click on “Retailer List.”  You can sort the list alphabetically or, by category (Apparel & Accessories, Department Stores, Dining, etc.).  If you currently do not have a SCRIP coordinator in your area, contact Ginny May  to order SCRIP.

Remember - SCRIP isn’t just to give away – you can use it every day!

Empties4Cash

Empties4Cash – When it’s time to replace the inkjet cartridge (cartridge sizes that fit in your hand) from your computer’s printer DON’T throw it away. The Associates are recycling for cash. If each of us would ask the members of our family, our friends and co-workers to bring us their empty inkjet printer cartridges when they put in a new one, we can recycle them for cash. Here’s what we have to do.

Save the cartridges and give them to an ARC member or trustee, or bring them to one of our on-campus gatherings. Once there are enough to send away (100+), they will be packaged and shipped, at no charge to us, to Empties for Cash. Once received, we will get cash for the ones eligible and they will recycle those that are not eligible. We do NOT have to sort them. They do that for us.

Thank you for helping with this project!
