The Alumni Office wants to make it easy for you to connect with classmates and the college. Consequently, a variety of communication tools are available to you.

Social Networks

Hundreds of alumni have discovered the advantages of connecting with classmates and the college through such online networks as Facebook and Twitter. In addition to maintaining or rebuilding relationships with individual friends, you can become a fan of the Rochester College pages on Facebook or Twitter to view news information from the college.

When entering your personal information on the education section of the Facebook information page, be sure to list “Rochester College” and your class year so your name will appear when friends try to access classmates by college name. The use of “Michigan Christian College” does not sort as effectively in the Facebook database.

Find-a-Friend

Have you lost track of a former roommate or a good friend from your time at the college? Even if it has been decades since your last visit with a person, you might be surprised how quickly the years melt away once you reestablish contact. If you need help locating an individual, contact Larry Stewart at lstewart@rc.edu.

North Star

Rochester College’s news publication, the North Star, is normally mailed to alumni in the fall and spring of each year. You are encouraged to submit news about job changes, awards, marriages, and births for publication in the North Star. If you are not receiving the North Star, contact Larry Stewart at lstewart@rc.edu. The Alumni Office may not have your correct address. Archive issues of the North Star dating back to 1997 are available online.

Enews

On a monthly basis, the Alumni Office sends a brief newsletter by email to alumni and friends of the college. The Enews includes news highlights, information about events, and links to other media. If you are not already receiving the Enews, subscribe today!

Direction Daily Devotional

Rochester College produces a daily devotional for friends and alumni. This 1-2 minute inspirational message is designed to provide encouragement for your day and direction for daily living. An email link is sent to subscribers Monday through Friday each week. You can listen to a sample and subscribe online.

Fine Arts Email List

If you would like to be added to an email distribution list for details about all music concerts and theatre productions, contact Julayne Hughes at jhughes1@rc.edu.

Athletic Updates

Mobile phone updates about team scores and athletic events are available to all alumni and friends of the college. You can choose to receive information on specific teams or all athletic information when you subscribe to this service.
