Scholarships

All institutional scholarships are reviewed on an annual basis. Modifications for future incoming classes will not change your scholarship award.

Deadline date represents risk dates. If you complete the application requirements after this date, the award may not be available due to limited funding.

All institutional scholarships are available for fall and spring semesters only.

Children of Christian Academy Employee Discount

Eligibility	Awarded to first time RC students under age 24 whose parents are currently employed full-time at an accredited Christian High School. Approved schools must be a member of one of the following associations. (NCSA, ACSI, AACS) Employment verification letter must be submitted annually. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.
Amount	$2500 per year

Christian College/University Discount

Eligibility	Tuition discount given to dependent children under age 24 of full time employees at specific Christian Colleges/Universities. Discount is extended to employees of sister institutions who offer a reciprocal discount for Rochester College employees. Recipients must reside in RC residence hall.

How to Apply	Submit completed Application for Admission and Provide verification of full time employment on school letterhead.
Renewal Requirements	Must remain full-time boarding student and maintain 2.50 CGPA. Annual employer verification of continued full-time parental employment.

Christian High School Graduate Discount

Eligibility	Awarded to first time RC students under age 24 who graduated from an accredited Christian High School. Graduates from schools in the following associations (NCSA, ACSI, AACS) are currently approved to received this scholarship. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls if not living with parents.
Amount	$1,000 per year

Children's Home Resident Discount

Eligibility	Awarded to first time RC students under age 24 whose parents work as house parents at a children’s home. The parents must be the legal guardian of the student and live full-time at the children's home. This discount is also available for first-time students who have lived at the children's home for the past year with no parental support. Discount application required annually. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.

Family Tuition Discount

Eligibility	Available to families with two or more dependent children concurrently enrolled full time in the traditional program at Rochester College. Recipients must reside in RC residence hall unless living with parents.
Amount	$2,000

Renewal Requirements	Continued enrollment of two or more children as verified by the Registrar. Minimum of 2.50 CGPA. Recipients must reside in RC residence hall unless living with parents.

Children of Minister's Discount

Eligibility	First time RC students under age 24 who are dependent children of full-time ministers (pulpit, youth, worship) and have served in that capacity for at least 3 years. Discount application form as well as youth census list (9th-12th) from your home congregation must be submitted annually. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.

Foreign Missionary Discount

Eligibility	First time RC students under age 24 who are dependent children of full-time foreign missionaries. Parents must be currently working under the supervision and support of a Church of Christ located in the United State. Verification from sponsoring congregation must be submitted annually. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.
Amount	$3,000 per year

International Scholarship Discount

Eligibility	Awarded automatically students who are not residents of the United States. Students eligible for U.S. Federal or State aid are not eligible. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.

Alumni Parent Scholarship

Eligibility	Awarded automatically to children of Alumni. At least one parent must have attended Rochester College on a full time basis for at least four semesters.
Amount	$750 per year

Church Match Scholarship

Eligibility	Students must receive a matching scholarship from their home congregation and be enrolled full-time. The scholarship check from the church must be sent in with the completed Admission Application.
Amount	Rochester College will match up to $1000 per academic year.
Deadline	Fall deadline (August 1) Spring deadline (January 1)
How to Apply	Church must complete the matching scholarship form. The check and the form must be sent in with the Church Match Scholarship form.
Renewal Requirements	Church must submit new form each time a donation is received.

Out of Sate Tuition Grant

Eligibility	Awarded to US citizens & permanent residents of a state other than Michigan. Student must demonstrate financial need by being eligible for the Michigan Tuition Grant as if they were a Michigan resident. Recipients must reside in RC residence halls.
Amount	$1,000 per year
