ARISE (A Residential Integrated Student Experience) is a voluntary, semester by semester, academic program available to qualifying students. It is designed to enhance the student educational experience by providing increased collaboration with faculty and staff, and by increasing opportunities for student growth and development in integrated ways.
Each semester, students will have the opportunity to enroll in one of several available ARISE tracks. While the tracks are organized around a particular area, each track strives to demonstrate how learning is an integrative experience that involves mind, body and spirit. Any Rochester College student is welcome to apply for an ARISE track. In addition, residential students who apply and successfully complete an ARISE track will be awarded a free academic credit to be applied as an elective credit. Participating residential students are eligible to earn up to eight ARISE credits throughout their college career.

Arts & Culture
The Arts and Culture Track offers students an opportunity to explore events and venues of cultural, historical, and aesthetic interest both on campus and in the greater

The Mentoring Track provides students with opportunities to interact with an individual or small group outside their current age group or life stage in order to gain from the wisdom of mentors, share their own experiences, and encourage others.
Service Learning
The Service Learning Track creates opportunities for participation in and reflection on community service activities.
