Admissions Our hassle-free admissions policy removes many of
the barriers that students face in higher education. The
following downloadable files will help you learn more about what CEL offers:
Regular admission to CEL is granted to students who are:
At least 23 years of age or have 3 or more years of full-time work experience and have a high school diploma with a minimum grade point average of 2.25 or a GED with a minimum score of 50.
Transfer students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.25 to be regularly admitted.
Admission Process
Make an appointment to have a degree plan made.
This plan serves as your education roadmap. It will show you all applicable transfer credit received and what classes will still need
to be taken.
Have official copies of your high school and college transcripts sent to Rochester College's Center for Extended Learning.
Make application for admission by completing the RC/CEL application and submitting it along with the $35 application
fee.
