Welcome to Rochester College's Center for Extended Learning (CEL)

The Center for Extended Learning offers programs designed to serve the unique needs and learning styles of adult learners. We are dedicated to making post-secondary education available to working adults. We recognize that as employees and employers, individuals need to be well prepared to function effectively in today's work environment. In addition to preparing students in their area of study, CEL's program objectives promote critical thinking, a passion for life-long learning, freedom of inquiry, moral excellence, and communication skills.

With accelerated evening, weekend, and online classes, the Center for Extended Learning allows you to step forward with your education without falling back with the rest of your life.

The CEL is recognized as a leader in adult higher education in Southeast Michigan, offering degree programs through classroom based and select online courses.

• May 26-30 - Session A Course Drop Deadline
• June 11 - AAA College Fair at the Dearborn Headquarters building
• June 13-19 - Final Exams for Session A
• June 20 - Session B classes begin
• End of June/Beginning of July - Fall 2008 Registration begins
• July 4-5 - Independence Day Weekend (No classes and offices closed)
• July 21-25 - Session B Course Drop Deadline
• August 8-14 - Final Exams for Session B
• August 15 - Fall 2008 Semester Begins
