WHAT IS KAMAJI???
Kamaji is a residential summer camp for girls located in Northern Minnesota. Each
summer, 160 girls (ages 7-15) and 80+ staff members come together to enjoy the
magic of camping.

WHAT POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE???
We are looking for
1. Cabin counselors who teach one of the following activities: Sailing, Canoeing,
Windsurfing, Fishing, Sea-Kayaking, English Horseback Riding, Tennis, Archery,
Aerobics/Dance, Outdoor Living Skills and on our Low Ropes Course/Climbing Wall
(Women Only)
2. Program Specialists in one of the activities listed above. (Women or Men)
3. Wilderness Trip Leaders who lead trips from two to eight days in length. (Women
or Men)
4. Assistant Cooks. (Women or Men)
5. Office Workers/Camp Drivers. (Women or Men)
Applicants who are spontaneous, flexible, fun-loving, child-like without being childish, as
well as those with TLC to give are welcome to apply.

WHAT IS THE SUMMER EMPLOYMENT PERIOD???
Minimally, all Kamaji’s staff work from June 11th until August 13th, 2008.

WHAT IS THE SALARY???
Competitive Salary based upon education, experience, qualifications, etc. Salaries
range from $2000 to $2400 for the minimum employment period of June 11th through
August 13th. Additional compensation is provided in the form of room and board plus a
transportation allowance ranging from $100 to $400. Additional weekly salary beginning
at $200 per week for pre- and post-season work.
