The #7 ranked Rochester College Women's Basketball team traveled to Chicago, IL to take on Moody Bible College on Thursday night and were able to raise their season record to 12-12. It took a while for the warriors to find their legs to begin the game as they were only able to build a slim 29-25 lead at the half behind the 3 of 4 shooting from the 3 point line by Jazzmone Russell. Both teams shot just 33% from the floor in the 1st half.

Once again, the second half would prove to be the time the warriors would excercise their muscle. Behind a 50% shooting performance from the field  and forcing Moody into 19 turnovers, the warriors would run away with a 68-44 road victory. Sam Tomoschko would continue her stellar play this season with a 20 point 6 rebound effort, while Liz Stockwell would chip in 13 points and 6 rebounds as the lady warriors would dominate play in the paint.

Next up for the warriors will be a double-header road trip with the men's team to Grand Rapids, MI where they will take on Kuyper College at 1:00 PM on Saturday (Jan. 30). The men will play at 3:00 PM.
