Warriors defeat Andrews University 74-54

The Rochester College Men's Basketball team traveled to Berrien Springs, MI to take on Andrews University on Wednesday night and came home with a 74-54 victory. The game was a key USCAA match-up for both teams. Andrews University is trying to qualify for the USCAA Division II National tournament, while RC competes at the Division I level in the USCAA.

The game was played at a slow pace for the up tempo warriors as the host Cardinals would only put up 39 total shots for the game. While the Warriors did allow the Cardinals to shoot 51% from the field for the game, the were able to force 21 turnovers for the game.

The Warriors were also hot from the floor as they would shoot 59.5% from the field for the game with only 12 turnovers. Rochester College was led by Adrian Schaffer who scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Michael Graham chipped in 15 points.

The win lifts the warriors season record to 13-7. The next game for the Warriors will be in Marion, OH for a match-up with Ohio State University-Marion.
