Warriors fall to Rockets 65-46

The Rochester College warriors men's basketball team dropped its seventh game in a row 65-46 to the University of Toledo on Wednesday night at Toledo's Savage Arena. Toledo controlled the game in the first half, outscoring the warriors 37-17, while holding the warriors to just 23% shooting from the field.  The Rockets had total control in the first half, dominating in every statistical category. They held a 24-11 margin on the glass, a 24-2 advantage in the paint, and a 54% field goal shooting performance.

The second half was a total turn around for the warriors as they would out score the Rockets 29-28 and hold a 22-18 rebounding edge, but it was not enough to overcome the first half woes.

Sophomore C Ricky Doran would lead the warriors with 13 points and 9 rebounds, followed by Junior PG Stephan Henning and Junior G Marques Ewell who chipped in 8 points apiece.

The Warriors will enjoy some time off as they prepare for their next game at the Madonna University Classic when they will face the University of Michigan-Dearborn on December 11 at 6:00 PM. The game will be played at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan.
