The RC men traveled to Hammond, IN to take on host NAIA 2 Purdue University-Calumet. Despite poor shooting and a lack of rebounding, the Warriors were able to come home with a 60-54 road victory. The Warriors shot just 39% from the floor while getting out rebounded by 15 (26-41). The first half saw both team shoot poorly as PU-C shot just 23% from the floor, allowing the warriors to take a 28-19 lead heading into halftime. The slim 9 point lead proved enough of a cushion to hold on to the win as PU-C outscored the warriors 35-32 in the second half.

The warriors were led in scoring by Adrian Schaffer (15 pts), Tony Watkins (14 pts), Stephan Henning (11 pts), and Steve McCune (10 pts). This week the team will concentrate on exams before playing at the Madonna University Tournament where they will take on USCAA foe Taylor University-Ft. Wayne on Friday December 12. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm. That game will mark the first of 3 games in 3 days for the warriors. After the game on Friday the warriors will tip it up at 12:00 pm on Saturday when they take on Holy Cross College from South Bend, Indiana. On Sunday the Warriors will travel just down the road where they will play Oakland University at 2:00 pm.

The Warriors record now stands at 8-3.
