The Rochester College women's golf team completed their fall season in fine fashion when they travelled to Holland, MI to compete in the Hope University Invitational. Battling cold temperatures and 20 mph wind gusts, sophomore Jordan Grambush finished in a tie for 6th after shooting a 91. Grambush was stellar on the back nine collecting three pars and a birdie on her way to a five over par 41. Freshman Audrey Cravens also played solid golf all day. Cravens carded three pars on the front nine on her way to a tie for 19th after shooting a 99. Coach Clayton Bissett was pleased with his team's performance.
"I am very proud of the way the girls came out and played great golf on a day that was tough to do so," Bissett said. "They both battled and played excellent golf at times throughout the day. This was a great way to end the season. I am looking forward to the spring to see how we build on this."
The women's team will resume play in the spring when their second season gets underway in late March.
