The women's golf team traveled to Wauseon, OH on Tuesday to participate in the 13th annual Jon P. Spiess Memorial Golf Tournament for their first tournament of the year. Freshman Audrey Cravens came home with the hardware as she finished in 6th place with a score of 90 to earn Rochester College's first ever individual trophy. Jordan Grambush also had a good day as she was able to shoot a 96 on her way to an 11th place finish.
Coach Clayton Bissett was very pleased with their performances. "I was very proud of both of them," Bissett said. "They both played a very solid, smart round. Audrey did a great job in her first collegiate tournament. Hopefully they can both build on this and keep getting better."
The women will take the trip to Angola, IN on Friday, September 19th to compete in Trine University's (formerly Tri-State) tournament.
