The Rochester College men’s soccer team and NCAA DIII Bluffton University played to a 0-0 tie in the Ultimate Soccer Complex in Pontiac, Mi.
With rain coming down for the 2nd straight day, the Warriors moved their game from Borden Park to the Ultimate Soccer Complex.
Bluffton University seemed to make the adjustment from outdoors to indoors much better than the Warriors as they carried the play to the Warriors in the 1st half. The Beavers outshot the Warriors for the 1st half 9 shots to 3, and for the game 19 to 9.
It was a physical foul filled match with both teams in double digit fouls.
The Warriors halftime adjustments seemed to spark RC however the Beavers held the Warriors off the scoreboard as the game ended 0-0.
Sophomore goal keeper Steven Jesionowski, Milford played the entire match in goal for the Warriors making 11 saves on 19 shots.
The Warriors record now stands at 5-2-1 and will next play host to NCAA DIII, Huntington University, In. on Wednesday, 9/17.
