ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – Rochester College head baseball coach Brett Crawford has recently announced the signing of Jordan Tressler for the 2009 season.
Jordan Tressler, a right-handed pitcher, middle infielder, from Selinsgrove Area High School, finished his junior season with a 4-2 record and a 2.32 ERA. Tressler also fanned 51 batters in 40 innings of work, including three one-hitters, in route to All-Conference honors.
"Tressler is a great athlete. He has the potential to be a two-way player for us. In addition to his athletic ability, he adds the intangible of academic excellence and a willingness to reap the rewards of hard work," Crawford commented.
The Tressler family resides in Selinsgrove, PA. Jordan has prepped under the coaching guidance of Brent Butler while becoming a 3-year letter man.
