ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - The Rochester College baseball team has released its 2008 schedule. The Warriors will open up February 16th and 17th with a four game series against 18th ranked Union College of Barbourville, KY.
Following the opening series, the Warriors will travel to Nashville, TN to play 8th ranked Cumberland University in a one nine inning contest followed by a trip to Huntington, IN against Huntington University.
Rochester College will then open up its Michigan contests against Alma College March 15th followed by the home opener with a doubleheader against Henry Ford Community College. The following days include four games against Division II opponent Northwood University and Division III Olivet College.
The Warriors then hit the road to visit Penn State-Beaver playing host to the USCAA Invitational. In addition to the host school, Rochester College will be paired up against the 2007 USCAA National Champion Apprentice School (VA) and the 2006 USCAA National Champion Briarcliffe University (NY).
Upon returning home, the Warriors will suit up against 3rd ranked Spring Arbor University followed by a rekindled rivalry against cross state opponent Aquinas College. The following weeks will include games against Division II Hillsdale College as well as Concordia University, Siena Heights University, Kellogg Community College, Madonna University, and Concordia University.
The Rochester baseball team concludes the regular season with a trip to Saginaw Valley State University in hopes of heading to Peninsula War Memorial Stadium in Hampton, VA May 10-15th for the USCAA World Series.
