Rokowski was injured on the play and was out for the remainder of the game. Senior Calvin Marshall (Carman-Ainsworth) converted on the penalty kick, providing the Warriors with a surge of energy.
The game remained 2-1 for another 20 minutes when junior Kevin Stilwell (Fenton) brought the Warriors even with the Timberwolves at 2-2. Regulation ended with the score tied 2-2. The two teams battled back and forth during the 2 OT periods with both teams coming close. The Timberwolves had the better of the opportunities but the Warriors were able to hold them off, as the Timberwolves were attacking in the Warrior box when time ran out.
