Hello, I’m your Admissions Recruiter from Rochester College. My job is to give you all the information you need to decide if RC is the best fit for you. Ask me questions about anything from degree programs to financial aid to campus life. Information is the key to making a good decision about your educational future.

I believe that relationships and community are what makes RC so special. The way we engage in dialog with one another helps us grow academically, professionally, and spiritually is very refreshing. If you attend RC, you will be cared for individually, developing significant relationships that will benefit your personal life and prepare you for a professional career of significance.

My academic background and passions are in ministry, having had over 6 years of experience as a youth minister and preaching minister. I currently am the young adult minister for Rochester Church of Christ, in addition to recruiting for Rochester College. I graduated from Rochester College’s Master’s program in Religion, with an M.R.E. in Christian Ministry.

My wife is Beth (2002 RC graduate). She is Resident Director in Alma Gatewood, RC’s Freshman hall, so we live in an apartment on campus. We love being around the RC students, developing relationships and community. We have two children- Sophie (4 ½ years old) and Sawyer (4 months old). RC has given so much to our family over the years; we enjoy giving back.

I grew up in West Virginia (go Mountaineers!), but have lived in Michigan since 2000. I enjoy reading fantasy & science fiction, chopping wood, and video games. Coffee is a passion for me. I roast my own coffee beans and am rightly described as a “coffee snob.” But my greatest joy in my life is playing with my children.
