We are pleased you are considering becoming a student at Rochester College and are honored by your interest. Completing your college degree is a very important step in your career, and we are happy that Rochester will be able to help you achieve your goals.

Enrollment Requirements

Regular admission is granted to students who have a High School Diploma with a minimum 2.25 GPA or a GED*, are at least 21 years of age, and have three or more years of work experience.

Transfer students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.25 to be regularly admitted.

*The minimum GED score prior to 2002 must be at least a 50. Beginning in 2002, the requirement is a minimum total score of 2,250 with no single test score below 410 on all tests in the test battery

Admission Process

  1. Make an appointment to have a degree plan made. This plan serves as your education roadmap. It will show you all applicable transfer credit received and what classes will still need to be taken.
  2. Have official copies of your high school and college transcripts sent to Rochester College’s Center for Extended Learning.
  3. Make application for admission by completing Rochester College’s Center for Extended Learning admissions application and submit it along with the $35 application fee.
  4. Register for classes!
