A Cappella Chorus

The Rochester College A Cappella Chorus is a tightly knit group that has an unparalleled reputation for excellence. In existence for more than 50 years, it presents more than 20 concerts annually throughout the country. The group meets daily for rehearsal and performs standard collegiate choral repertoire, utilizing its concerts to uplift and minister to listeners. The Chorus has collaborated with many musical organizations in southeast Michigan, including the Rochester Symphony Orchestra, the St. Clair Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Other choral collaborations have included area high school and church choirs in festivals and large-scale choral works. Tours have taken the group to many churches and other venues across the country, including Carnegie Hall in New York City. Membership is by audition.
