As an institution, RC believes that as the world shrinks through expanding technology, communications and intercontinental travel, taking time to study in other countries and cultures is an important aspect of post-secondary education.

“GEO is a great opportunity for students because it provides a broader view of the world,” said Dr. Keith Huey, chair of the department of Bible and religion. “It takes us beyond textbooks and classroom lectures, and it gives us perspectives we never imagined before.  It is particularly important for colleges to provide these opportunities — travel gets increasingly difficult when students graduate, get jobs, and start families.”

Rochester College offers several opportunities that use this integrated method of study and travel.
