Science and Mathematics Department

The Department of Science and Mathematics at Rochester College is a growing and vibrant department dedicated to providing majors and non-majors with an excellent and meaningful learning experience that engages, challenges, and prepares as we explore the creation. Experiential learning is a hallmark of our department and is supported by excellent new laboratory facilities as well as opportunities to study in the field. Our graduates who have pursued further educational opportunities, such as medical school, or graduate work have been well prepared and successful in their efforts, as have those who have become professional educators.

Small class sizes, excellent faculty, and research opportunities for undergraduates provide a unique and exciting learning environment that encourages strong relationships among student peers and mentoring relationships between faculty and students.
