Institutional Research involves the creation and maintenance of databases and archives of student data including enrollment, student learning assessment, and institutional information. This data is used for internal decision-making and planning, and external reporting to various agencies and audiences. This webpage includes some the data available for public use. Common Data Set (CDS)
The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student’s transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers. It contains information on student enrollment and persistence, admission, academic offerings, student life, annual expenses, financial aid, faculty and instruction, and degrees conferred.
