The Provost is the chief academic officer of a college or university. As Provost of Rochester College, Dr. John Barton reports to the President and is responsible for the administration, oversight, and development of all academic functions and resources. He works with the various college deans, department chairs, and program directors who comprise the Academic Cabinet, the governing body over all academic policies and curricula, to make sure that the college’s academic work is done well and in line with the institutional mission.

The Director of Assessment and Institutional Research, Mr. Mark Manry. The Director of Assessment and Institutional Research develops processes and manages data that is crucial for the college’s internal assessment, external reporting, and accreditation credentials.
The Director of Integrated Learning, Dr. Beth VanRheenen. The Director of Integrated Learning develops and oversees all integrated learning initiatives on campus including Academic Symposium events, monthly convocations, and intentional learning communities. This Director also provides writing and editing expertise on mission-critical projects related to assessment, grant writing, and the Self-Study.
