HLC Visit

Public Notification of Comprehensive Evaluation Visit and Third Party Comments

Rochester College is seeking input from the general public as part of its preparation for a comprehensive evaluation for continuing accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools. Rochester College has been accredited by the commission since 1974.

Rochester College began a self-study process in August 2010 in preparation for a formal accreditation site visit by a team of evaluators from the College’s peer institutions representing the HLC.  An executive summary of the completed self-study can be downloaded here: RC_HLC_2013_SelfStudy_ExecutiveSummary. The full self-study can be accessed here: http://tiny.rc.edu/hlc_selfstudy.

The team of peer-evaluators is scheduled to visit our campus from March 11-13 and will review the College’s ongoing ability to meet the commission’s criteria for accreditation, which can accessed here: http://www.ncahlc.org/Information-for-Institutions/criteria-and-core-components.html.

The public is invited to submit online comments regarding the College directly to the HLC at http://ncahlc.org/Information-for-the-Public/third-party-comment.html. Comments also may be sent by mail to:
