Mark is married to Beth VanRheenen, Professor of English at Rochester College. They have two daughters, Sara (Mrs. Casey) Dacus of Searcy, Arkansas, and Anne (Mrs. Tim) Nichols of Washington, Michigan, and two grandchildren, Hailey and Tyler Nichols. Mark began his career as an accountant for Deloitte & Touche, taught at four colleges/universities, owned his own accounting firm, and served as Vice President of Finance at two institutions of higher learning. Mark enjoys reading, classical music, basketball, baseball, and bicycling with Beth.
