PERSONAL:

Kay began teaching and coaching after finishing her first undergraduate degree.  After two years, she returned to school for her next degree in Petroleum Engineering and worked in the oil industry for three years, including a period of work offshore.  Kay then returned to her true love of teaching and has been pursuing this passion in various ways.  She has taught and coached home-schooled children, including her own, taught in public schools, community colleges, colleges, and universities.  Kay is married to Gary Tucker, who also works for Rochester College, and they have two children, Timothy and Anne. Kay enjoys spending time with her family, which includes their four-legged ones.  In addition to normal family activities, Kay enjoys breeding and training dogs.
