Caye is married to Jim Randolph, retired executive from GM/Delphi and member of the Board of Trustees of Rochester College since 1998. They have three daughters, Dalaina (Mrs. Byron Harrell) of Shelby Township, Michigan; Jamie (Mrs. Louis Watson) of Jackson, Mississippi; and Allison (Mrs. Brent Ballard) of Denver, Colorado. They have eight grandchildren: Nathan, Hannah, and Ella Jane Harrell; Jane Ashley, Emily, and Lauren Watson; and Sabrina and Blake Ballard. Caye began her 35 year career in public education in California, followed by assignments in Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, and Michigan. She ended her career as principal of Rochester Adams High School, Rochester, Michigan, in 2000. She taught in elementary and secondary level, special education, and administration. Caye joined the faculty of Rochester College in January 2005 as Coordinator of Student Teaching. Caye enjoys traveling, especially with her extended family, landscape gardening, and playing golf.
