Doug Danne Speaks On Campus

On Friday, April 20, author Doug Danne will be on campus to speak to students about interviewing skills, job searches, and much more. He recently published a book entitled “Employment Essentials—College Edition.”

Danne is a successful businessman who has hired many employees. He says, “In over 30+ years in business, I witnessed hundreds of interviews with young men and women—most of whom were highly energetic, well-educated, but with little or no knowledge of what it really takes to get that first job and start a career.”

His book maps a pathway to success for those willing to dedicate the time and study necessary to succeed. Danne gives readers and inside view of what it takes to get a great job by mentoring and empowering college students to outperform other candidates looking for that first job after gradation. Some of the topics his presentation will cover include:

  • Bi-directional Interviewing
  • Empowering Yourself
  • Focused Job Searches
  • Insider Information

Danne’s presentation will take place from 11:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in the Gold Room on Friday, April 20. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
