From April 29 through May 9, the Rochester College A Cappella Chorus Spring Tour will take place on the East coast, culminating in a concert at the famous Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, New York.

The A Cappella Chorus serves as an important musical ambassador for Rochester College and is currently directed by Dr. Joe Bentley. Now in its 53rd year, it presents over twenty concerts each year throughout the Midwest and Canada. The group has appeared regularly with the Rochester Symphony Orchestra in works such as Vivaldi’sGloria, Handel’s Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and the Mozart and Verdi Requiems. The chorus has also appeared with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in classical and pop concerts, and has sung for Neeme Jarvi, Jan-Pascal Tortelier, and Erich Kunzel.
