The RC academic year 2011-12 will kick off on Monday, Aug. 22, with Opening Sessions. All faculty and employees are expected to be in attendance.
The morning will start with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the RC Theatre and will be followed by a devotional, remarks by the administration team and others, and a keynote presentation by Dr. Gary Selby, director of the Pepperdine University Center for Faith and Learning.
Thoughts also will focus on this year’s theme, “The God of Life,” based upon John 10:10: “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
A community barbecue will be served from noon until 1:30 p.m. on the campus lawn on the west side of the Associates Campus Center. Faculty will also have sessions on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
